The United Nations declares 21st June 2015 International Day of Yoga - Kellie’s passionate and powerful network promises to create a day of unforgettable experiences and lasting friendships. Organised under the umbrella of her events company, thecollectiveom.com, Kellie built on the 1st event in Monaco in 2014, which attracted over 700 people, and added huzzpah for 2015! The Nice free event has drawn some breath-taking support and sponsorship, to create an unforgettable and energizing experience ; Indian musician, Nihar Mehta will open the session, settling the mind with ethereal tabla sounds, yoga leader for the event, Nico Luce will then guide students with breathing and meditative techniques, (French translation provided), opera singer Elodie Tisserole closes the session with a sensational auditory delight. The Marie de Nice, Negresco Hotel and Pure-Flow Coco have freely provided the venue, base-camp (for Press) and refreshing coconut water for participants, respectively. Additional support comes from Bio.Marchand, Yogi Teas, and Philip Bray’s meditation trees - yet it is a testament to Kellie’s charisma and charm which will see many yoga studios - from Italy to San Tropez - close on 21st, and re-direct their students to the event - now THAT is motivational leadership!
‘Breath and our breathing is a technique by which we can self-reflect’, explains Kellie. The company ‘aims to help employees gain a greater understanding of themselves, as well as how they can make positive changes to improve their life ‘, find further details of on-site reflexology, chair -massage and other well-being sessions, at the website. She continues, ‘stress is a state of mind’. The emerging science of breathing is revealing a powerful aspect of our well-being. Overlooked for so long by mainstream health-providers, it is no secret to those with even basic command of yoga and meditation.
The final word from Kellie, ‘come, try yoga, breathe as one, love the music, try a massage, hang out with friends, old and new, picnic in the park afterwards - this is a day of re-newal’.
So, no excuses - don’t hold it, nor let it bait - let go and breathe better!
