Happy January everyone!
Jump start the year by going for a walk outside! There is nothing like walking for about 60 minutes and feel the sunbeams from the sun (it works in all weather conditions by the way). Did you know that it prevents & heals depression? Ten minutes sunshine a day will provide you with the vital and essential amount of vitamin D you need.
As you walk, notice the colours of nature and remember to look far away to the horizon, as this will expand your mind and vision. Stop and stand still to admire a special beautiful view, and take some deep breaths to energize and recharge yourself with fresh prana (the lifeforce energy in the air) During and/or after your walk you can stretch a bit like this, in an appropriate height for you:
Stretching and maintaining your hamstrings long will help preventing backaches: 80% of the world’s population suffer from backaches!
If it pulls too much, you can bend the leg you are standing on, as it still stretches the hamstring up.
