Winter wishes of love...
It's beginning to feel a lot like winter... Days are shorter, temperatures are down and it is definitely feeling much cooler but even then there is something quite nice about winter that I always look forward to. I enjoy lighting the fire and cooking a real winter warmer, wearing my winter woollies and my guilty pleasure has to be putting on my fluffy jimjams (but don't tell anyone!).
The winter season is a good time to take stock of where we are in life, and see how many of the dreams we made at the start of the year have been fulfilled, and what little wishes we still want to achieve before the end of the year.
We never really know where life will take us. I never imagined at the beginning of this year that I would be making so many changes on so many levels; geographically, professionally and mentally. Every situation I have encountered has turned into a new opportunity, a new challenge and certainly a new adventure... And I am loving it!
But to be honest, summer, autumn, winter or spring, all I could ever wish for, is to have love, share love and give love. It is the greatest gift to give and to receive.
"Let us love winter, for it is the spring of genius." - Pietro Aretino
