Keep Smiling... We have Rosé
Gorgonia
IGT Liguria di Levante
A glass of French Rosé is usually associated with summer, sunshine and socialising. Recent news in France of a possible shortage has many feeling a little anxious. This is owing to increased demand worldwide and also a smaller crop because of bad weather conditions.
So we have found a little Italian number to keep us sipping and smiling... just in case!
The Gorgonia Rosato is grown in Tavolara, Comune di Sarzana, in the province of La Spezia and the grape variety is 100% Merlot. The vineyard has a total area of 1.5ha.
This coral pink, delicate and transparent wine has a gentle aroma of wild strawberry and pomegranate. The rosato (rosé) goes well with vegetable ravioli, easter cake, pizza with mozzarella and tomato. A bottle retails at €10.
