Public Safety is one of Monaco's Main Attractive Features.

Monday, October 22nd the Meridien Hotel in Monaco was the venue for the Press Conference of the 30th session of the National Academy of the Federal Bureau of Investigation better known as the FBI, that reunites 175 delegates from 5 continents from October 20th through 24th in the Principality.

Under the presidency of Olivier Jude, Commander of the Police Public Security Department in Monaco, and 2012 President of the FBI European Bureau, the participants will exchange their vast  experience and knowledge on the subject «The Police in the luxury industry : challenges, prevention and solutions».

Global action and cooperation is needed for the police to be more effective. Paul Masseron explained that as delinquency evolves we must keep a step ahead, to ensure a high level security that is one of the foremost  attractions in the Principality. International police cooperation is not actually a new idea. First attempts at formalizing such a cooperation date back to 1914, when Prince Albert I of Monaco invited lawyers and police officials from 23 nations and territories to meet in the Principality for the first International Criminal Police Congress.

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of that meeting the Interpol,  International Criminal Police Organization will hold its General Assembly in Monaco in November 2014. The interpol motto is « Connecting police for a safer world ».
