Wendy and I were invited to the 19th Monaco Yacht Show as press and our mission was seek out the feminine aspect of the industry. We sought them here, we sought them there, we sought our women everywhere.
We were very excited to find a humungous hairdryer on our travels only to find it was a submarine... every girl should have one and Wendy tells us why.
We were delighted to be able to chat to Sue Watson, one of yachtings few female captains, and yacht cook Paula Robson who also shares the passion of the waves. Over the weeks we will follow up with more interesting stories from the yacht show and the women that feature in the wonderful world of yachting.
Monaco certainly continues to be the place to be entertained... We are proud to be able to follow the antics at the 'Celebrity Lunches' and 'An Evening With...' produced by Kevin Marsh of Azur Productions.
With all the continual beautiful weather we have been having, it will certainly be great to sip a glass or two of Riesling as recommended by Helen of FineWineWorks, whilst still trying to win that bottle of Vilmart Champagne. The competition ends at the end of October.
Anne Naylor who always inspires us talks of peace and why she would always vote for President Obama. Anne's the last two articles and all her previous ones can be read here at The Riviera Woman.
Talking of voting, we want to know your views on Daylight Saving Time as the clocks go back one hour on the 25th October... Read all about it and join in the vote.
Our last poll 'Would you sleep in separate beds to your partner?' the result was over 70% in favour of sleeping alone....zzz
Sleep is certainly the subject for Mary Jo Delaney who investigates the media. Did I say sleep? Err, I think I meant sheep. Confused? Then let Mary Jo tell you all about it.
The Riviera Woman introduces a new advice column, featuring our very own Riviera Woman Panel. Here women working together to help each other... Welcome to 'Dear Riviera Woman...'
Our Riviera Women are working wonders:
Alice Barker has created the #1 Ladies Website Agency
Alison Prideaux has courses on Meditation and

And FINALLY... A special thank you to Rosemary Jacobsohn from New York for contibuting to our splashy logo.
Well it is back to work again. Wendy and I will look forward to hearing from you with your news and your stories.
With our very good wishes, we look forward to next time...
ANNA and Wendy
