Rather like Bob the builder, “We can do it, yes we can” is the catchphrase that Anna & I have been using throughout August. Behind the scenes there has been a lot of thinking, discussing and planning going on. We’ve met with others, who offer their time and expertise. Mostly we’ve listened.
The Riviera Woman is growing stronger by the day. At times it feels like we are nailing jelly to the wall and other times we think Eureka! – we’ve cracked it.
Your support has been tremendous and has given us so much inspiration and food for thought. Please keep your comments coming, especially over the next few months as new features come on board.
As holidaymakers leave and residents return, the Riviera is again changing pace. Buzzing back and forwards from France to Italy to meet Anna, I love the coastal drive; the beaches are full and the blurred noise of happy sun bunnies and the lingering scent of sun cream endorse my decision to live here. Anna, our two Grahams and I took a day touring trip of the Italian Riviera, so many contrasts, crowded coast to isolated hill towns, blazing sun to drizzly rain all within the space of a few hours. Incredible.
The big news of August at a personal level is that I have a new life in my life and am now Grandmere to the most exquisite Scarlett Wendy. Please check out Wendy cubed
The long awaited baby is beautiful and even my husband agrees that she doesn’t look like a crumpled sock.
And now September with batteries recharged by the summer sun….
