Gevrey Chambertin 2007 by Bouchard Pere & Fils This Village appellation Burgundy is fermented in small, temperature-controlled stainless steel vats then matured in French Oak barrels. It is intense, has a perfumed bouquet with fruit aromas and an animal touch. Nice structure and lovely fleshiness. Has good ageing potential as well as being ready to drink now.
It’s excellent with grilled or roasted red meats and full flavoured cheeses. Serve at 17 – 18C. Available at Corkers Fine Wines Available from Corkers Fine Wines at 30.00 Euros HT (ex tax) per bottle.
