Cherry Ice-Cream
Ingredients:
350g of stoned pureed cherries
5 Egg Yolks
750ml Single Cream
150g Sugar
Method:
Puree the cherries, using a blender if you have.
Make a custard base by whisking egg yolks. Add to a pan and pour in the single cream and sugar. Stir over a low heat, until the custard begins to thicken.
Allow to cool and then add the cherries. Make sure it is all mixed together.
If using an ice-cream machine, churn for up to 30 minutes.
