Elizabeth Wessel has a talent and gift for capturing her childhood memories and transforming them into fashion designs. She has created her new Spring and Summer couture collection for 2011, and titled the show: "La Mer du Nord" - "The North Sea"

This collection has been inspired by her childhood holidays on the northern beaches of Denmark.

The colour palette she uses, ranges from deep grey to diaphanous blue resembling the tides and waves and hues of grey to green and grey to gold, as you would see on a wet sandy beach.

Her designs ooze femininity. They are elegant and sexy and flow, replicating the movement of the sea and visions of ripples on a sandy beach.

Elizabeth is a fashion designer and portrait artist whose origins are: Danish, Chilean and English. She is passionate about her creations and uses the finest of fabrics, with a result that is undeniably luxurious and glamorous.
