Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

1 x 200g of quality dark chocolate or mix of milk or white chocolate.

1 x carton of whipping cream (panna)

1 x teaspoon of vanilla extract - optional

A dozen Strawberries

To do

Melt the chocolate with the whipping cream until you have a smooth consistency. Mix well and then allow to cool just a little. Use separate dishes if you are using different types of chocolate.

Have prepared a sheet of baking parchment ready on a flat surface or dish.

Dip the strawberries in the chocolate mix and place on the baking sheet and allow to cool.

If you have any chocolate left over, use for dipping other fruits... or coat some shortcake biscuits...
