Yvonne Hansen was born in Denmark and now lives in the beautiful village of Apricale in Italy, with her husband. After a career as a civil servant for the Danish Government in Denmark, in Italy she works together with her husband in the field of tourism. Her life has always been about being together with many people. In her work now, in the past and as well, she hopes, in the future.

We asked Yvonne our famous 5 little questions and this is how she replied:

1) What makes you smile?

I live in Italy and my family is in Denmark and it makes me smile when I know that they are fine.

My husband and I have a good relationship and that makes me smile too. We have just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary.

In my daily work together with my husband I meet many different kinds of people and some of them really makes me smile.

2) What or who inspires you?

Meeting new and interesting people inspires me a lot. My daily life in Italy has given me lots of opportunities to meet people.

3) Do you believe in gut instincts? 

Yes of course I do. Life is always about selecting between two or more choices and often they can come quick, one after one another. This has made me develop my  "gut instinct". Without it I would be lost. No time for deep thoughts.

4) Your three essential things if you were stuck on a dessert island would be what?

My husband :) Company - Water/Food :) Survival - IPAD/Internet :) HELP!!!!

5) If you are planning a day/night out, what do you enjoy doing the most?

I enjoy very much having lunch with all our friends and I often arrange these kind of events. Planning the events is great fun as well as meeting the friends of our friends. My friends come from all over the world and I love to hear how they are and to hear their life stories.
