Laurent Nouvion, President of the National Council, was the latest guest speaker at the Entrepreneurial Women Association of Monaco (AFCEM) meeting. It was a lively get together around a healthy bio dinner concocted by chef Joannes and created by one of the AFCEM members Daniele de Winter, at the Horizon restaurant of the Fairmont Hotel. The 3 course meal has a special combination of antioxidants, proteins and omega 3 to help you feel energised and bursting with "joie de vivre".

The President of AFCEM, Joelle Baccialon gave a brief presentation on the association and the members introduced themselves to the distinguished guest. Mr. Nouvion who is also a lawyer and active businessman,  was very attentive to the concerns of the very active Monaco business women, taking notes about the issues being discussed and promising to act on them. His main objective is to increase the economic vitality of the Principality and advance the social advantages to Monegasques, while offering attractive living standards for the residents representing more than 120 nationalities. He made a strong point about not only working on attracting new residents but taking good care of the ones who are already living in the Principality and have been contributing to its progress. When asked about his opinion regarding the controversial plans to redesign Monaco’s centre by the Societe de Bains de Mer (SBM), he insists on the need for the National Council to be consulted in advance of strategic plans of the company to work together in harmony for a common goal. The members of the association were kindly invited by Mr. Nouvion to meet again at the new building of the National Council in a very near future to continue the productive dialogue.
