Andy Murray Is Preparing To Attack - Rolex Masters
Andy Murray ATP No. 2
The 25 year-old Scottish player Andy Murray arrived in Monaco last Wednesday to prepare for the first ATP World Tour Masters 1000. He says he feels in top form, is moving well and likes the conditions of the clay courts at the Monte-Carlo Country Club so he expects to do well even if he recognizes « it’s a tough draw. » Murray is ATP No. 2 with a total of 8,750 points versus No. 1 Djokovic with 12,500, while Federer is No. 3 with 8,670 and absent for this tournament. After Monaco Murray’s goal will be a good show in Roland Garros Grand Slam competition in May.
Young tennis fans with their trophies
Sunday was kids’ day at the tournament with lots of entertainment, including games and photo signing sessions with the pros. I met a group of young tennis fans who posed for a photo, one with his autograph book, the other with a Nadal shirt, and one of them with a poster of a tennis girl who he thought was really cute.
