Dedicated to Women... Everyday!

International Women's Day

In Italy the mimosa flower is given to women to celebrate International Women's Day (Festa Della Donna). It is common for women to give each other the yellow aromatic blooms as a sign of respect for each other and also as an expression of solidarity with the women in their support for oppressed women worldwide.

The Riviera is full of inspirational women following their passions and striving to better themselves and the world they live in. Women need women, to share experiences and motivate others. I hope you enjoy my video message...

Buddy Lunches are organised to bring together like-minded women and details can be found on the European Professional Women's Network's website. The EPWN help women in business and those starting out.

The Amber Club was created for women to get together, share all kinds of experiences and through support, embrace the change that has come their way.

Over the past fifty years, women have achieved great things. We have overcome adversity, seized opportunity, and gone for gold! There is still much to be done... and it starts with self belief - instead of engaging in gender wars, we should look within and try to be the best we can be as human beings. With confidence, class and with the ability to communicate with others, we can achieve great goals and move those mimosa covered mountains.

Happy Riviera Women's day!
