Journalist Tina Kieffer and her association

Marie-Paule Laval of Groupe Marie Claire, Tina Kieffer and Joelle Deviras of  Monaco Matin

The Monaco Press Club reunited at the Yacht Club of Monaco for the presentation by French journalist Tina KIEFFER, ex News Editor of the magazine Marie-Claire and founder in 2005 of the association « Toutes a l’Ecole» (Everyone to School).

Tina talked about her actions in Cambodia and the schooling of young girls around the world, inspired by the cruel reality that a girl who has received no education is 80% more at risk form poverty, forced marriage, rape, abuse, prostitution and of raising under-nourished children. In 70 countries in the world, girls are placed on the labour market at a very young age without ever going to school. Tina is actively involved in her association from the teaching program to recruiting teachers to fundrasing and building schools. She has five children including an adopted Cambodian girl.

To provide assistance it is possible to sponsor a class or an individual girl, that will allow them to become educated women, give them the means that will provide them freedom and dignity and allow them to actively participate in the economic life of the Cambodia of the future.
