Changing Times

It's all about change as we enter the final quarter of the year. Parasols are being replaced by umbrellas as the first rains arrive and water the dusty hot roads.

Children have returned to school and we add on the layers as the Autumn chill breezes in and Summer trends are boxed away.

Changing clocks... Cher sang 'If I could turn back time' – Well we can... On Sunday 28th October we turn back the clocks 1 hour.

By contrast one thing that doesn't change is the dramatic Alpine scenery which can be celebrated in the form of beautiful images. Dolceacqua is typical of all things Italian and is famous for the bridge painted by Monet, but less well-known is a very unique show – the Visionarium - that will take you on a wonderful seasonal journey. Read about it and then go and see it for yourself. 3-D Visionarium.

“We're all going on a Doggy Holiday...” Victoria James and her doggy family head to Piemonte for some fun training and a spot of truffle hunting. We of the two-footed variety, will also enjoy fine food and wine tasting... Perfetto!

Victoria has turned her passion and love for animals into a career that brings pleasure and satisfaction to everyone she works with. A Trained Dog is a Happy Dog. Meet some of the gang...

Education, Education, Education – To know more about the top Swiss schools – you are invited to a talk at the Hotel Hermitage in Monaco on Wednesday 17th October. To attend, contact Grisel Damgaard at Carfax Monaco – For more details, click HERE.

I came across this wonderful saying about October and I really think it says it all: “October is the fallen leaf, but it is also a wider horizon more clearly seen. It is the distant hills more in sight, and the enduring constellations above them once again”. By Hal Borland.
