Opportunity is one of the best gifts we can give anyone and especially to a young impressionable generation that face many challenges in these trying times.

It is refreshing to see a meeting of minds where the goal is about investing in the young so they can feel a part of a future that is greater and can be made better by their actions.

Outward Bound is an organisation that fuels energy, giving hope, pleasure and joy to so many. The passing on of skills and experience is what makes Outward Bound priceless, and using their philosophy of 'I can' gives hope to each and everyone that has taken part in an Outward Bound project to feel that they can contribute owing to a new inner confidence that the courses and experiences give. Another meeting of minds took place between Monaco USA and the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation, to raise funds for Outward Bound Monaco.

An event which was hosted by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou on the terraces of his Foundation, raised an impressive €10,000. 

Speeches by Sir Stelios, Annette Anderson (Monaco USA), Robert Rutter (OB President) Judy Churchill (OB General Secretary), all emphasied the importance and the value of, how I see it, paying forward, to take care of our young, and to be their mentors so they can achieve great things in the future. This is all so tangible, so do-able and so positive.
