Alexia Barrier started her around the world voyage for scientific research aboard the yacht 4myplanet in January and after 145 days she returned to her starting point in Monaco to a crowd of excited children. The Riviera Woman was there to capture that moment as we had done throughout the whole of this historical trip.

Alexia holds such affection for the children who support her and her passion for protecting our oceans. 

I caught up with Alexia at the Oceanographic in Monaco, after she gave a talk to all the local school children. I spoke to her about her time with the 4myplanet project, her passion for the ocean, the sporty side of Alexia and also her book!
