6 tips on how to keep your skin looking and feeling good
1. Cleansing and Toning very important, use mild simple cleansers normally water and oil based, use toners without alcohol as they strip the skin, toners balance the PH level of the skin. A clean fresh skin is a healthy skin.
2. Exfoliators, peels are necessary to remove dead skin from the epidermis, although be careful fine, fair skins with broken capillaries. Attention also with Glycolic acid peels, quite harsh and one cannot go in the sun afterwards. See a professional Beauty Therapist or Dermatologist to carry out such peels.
3. Massaging the skin is excellent to improve the circulation, tone the muscles and oxygenate the skin and muscles. Aromatherapy essential oils are great added to base carrier oil eg. sweet almond oil, The essential oils have tiny molecules which are absorbed into the blood system, therefore very effective for all skin types and very therapeutic.
4. Masks used once every 2/3 weeks degongests, hydrates, revives tired dull skin.
5. Not forgetting moisturisers, they protect from pollution and keep the skin soft and supple.
6. Last of all and most IMPORTANT is to have a healthy diet, drinks LOTS of water , don't smoke and drink little alcohol.
