Boyle-d Over

The UK Music Brit awards took place in London last night and as a former DJ/Presenter, I have an on-going interest in the music world.

Music means different things to different people. It is either a 'pick-me-up' or a means to unwind. Whatever it does, it is awesome. Beyond the beat, is the performer. Trends influence our choice and love of music. When a performer gets it so right, he or she has the power to capture the hearts and minds of millions of people. It is a gift that brings together language, culture and religion.

Susan Boyle has become a world wide phenomena ever since she first appeared on the English produced show: Britain's Got Talent. Last night, Susan performed at the 60th Sanremo Music Festival. It was no surprise that she received a standing ovation. The song 'I Dreamed A Dream' is full of true feelings and now she is living it. After her performance, Susan left Sanremo for Monaco Monte Carlo. This now makes her a Riviera Woman.

Susan Boyle joined a list of performers to release a single 'Everybody Hurts' to raise funds for the recent Haiti disaster.
