Welcome to October

Last year October was glorious here in Liguria, long may that continue. We had a super September and sharing good times with such a dynamic and international community, who share a real passion for living here in Italy, is what life is all about. La Bella Vita!

Thank you very much for all the positive and encouraging messages before and after our 1st World Peace Meditation event which was part of the United Nations World Peace celebrations taking place globally. Narda and I had only 2 weeks to arrange the event, and with sunset yoga, music and the official meditation, what a wonderful experience. We were rewarded with the most beautiful sunset ever! Everyone who came and those involved to make the event so poignant gave their time with pleasure. The event 'Riviera dei Fiori - Word Peace Meditation' is to become an annual event and we are already looking forward to next year. Anette Shine gave her heart and soul during her yoga session and with over 20 years of experience, she touched so many with her knowledge and deliverance in both English and Italian. Kes Cardoso and her sound bath was atmospherical. We thank Lily Morda and Ben for their music during the event, and a special thank you to our local artist Maria Pia Jones for dedicating one of her paintings to this event. Our own flower ceremony ended the event beautifully. This is the Riviera dei Fiori and flowers are not only symbolic of this beautiful area but a symbol of peace. Maria Pia's painting titled 'Semplicità' (Simplicty) is perfect, just perfect to reflect the peace that we want not only in the world but in our personal lives. Thank you! * Vivaitalia Bordighera Apero Evening: Friday 28th October starting at 6.00 pm. We are back to our winter residence with Vanda and her Prestige Bar near the church in Bordighera Town. As always you are welcome to stay as long as you like and enjoy chatting with new and old friends! Our September Apero and final one on the beach at Kukua was just fantastic! We will be back there next year. See PHOTOS

* Vivaitalia Apero in Sanremo: Our first Apero in Sanremo at Bar Scirocco in Portosole last month was superb. See PHOTOS. We are back at Bar Scirocco on Wednesday 12th October 2016 from 6 pm. We are looking forward to seeing you agan and meeting some new people too. Tell your friends and let's continue to build a great club.

* NOTE! Clocks Go Back

It's that time of the year! Early on Sunday morning of 30th October around 2 am, the clocks go back by 1 hour. An extra hour in bed or an extra hour doing what you enjoy to do!
