Chocolat is a film dedicated to the passion of chocolate. Set in 1959 Vianne Rocher, actress Juliette Binoche, together with her 6 year old daughter arrive in a small quiet French village and opens a chocolate shop. Her unique ways upset the local people and daily life until curiosity and then temptation proves too much. Her chocolate creations begins to seduce the locals and becomes the catalyst for the changes that take place... the village changes forever.
