How to keep Motivated, Seek Opportunity and Striving to be Successful

Keeping Motivated
"Practice makes perfect"

Finally being inspirational takes practice. The more opportunities you seek to keep yourself personally inspired (I find reading inspirational books and articles a good immediate source alongside listening to other inspirational speakers), the more it will be become part of your DNA until you hear people saying: “ Oh yes, she’s so inspirational”. The more you seek to inspire others as a natural part of your work ethic; the more it will become a habit. As Jim Rohn said: “Motivation gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going”.

Seeking inspiration and inspiring others will keep you keen, lean, interested, energised and youthful. Inspirational people light up rooms and draw others to them like magnets. They are never short of work and success seems to come easily to them. But make no mistake they are practising all the 11 points we have covered in this series of articles and constantly seeking out new opportunities for self-improvement so don’t wait, remember Picasso’s words: “inspiration exists but it has to find us working”.

Inspiration in a nutshell:

Being inspirational is:

1.Creating magic

2.Being enthusiastic

3.Walking the talk

5.Achieving success in the face of adversity

6.Having a dream

7.Selling WIFT

8.Talking in pictures

9.Reaching peoples’ emotions

10.Staying in shape

My tip of the month:

In the words of Kurt Hahn co-founder of the Outward Bound Trust: “ We are all better than we know and if only we could be made to realise this we would never be prepared to settle for anything less.”

That for me is truly inspirational!
